This policy describes the cookies and other trackers placed or read when you browse maisonmyel.com, their purpose, their lifetime and the means available to you to object to them. It supplements the privacy policy.
The controller for this processing is Maison Myel SAS, 129 boulevard du Général Koenig, 92200 Neuilly-sur-Seine, France (see the legal notices).
1. WHAT IS A COOKIE?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device (computer, tablet, phone) by the site you are visiting or by a third party that site calls upon. It allows your browser to be recognised from one page to the next or from one visit to the next. The same rules apply to equivalent technologies: invisible pixels, locally stored identifiers, device fingerprinting.
2. STRICTLY NECESSARY COOKIES
These trackers are essential to the operation of the site and to the provision of the service you request. In accordance with Article 82 of the French Informatique et Libertés Law, they are exempt from consent, but may not be used for any other purpose.

3. AUDIENCE MEASUREMENT AND ADVERTISING COOKIES
These trackers are not necessary for the site to function and are subject to your prior consent, which you may withdraw at any time (see Article 5).
They are loaded through Google Tag Manager (container GTM-PJMCFL4T), which is a tag manager: it does not measure anything itself, but triggers the tools below.

These tools may involve a transfer of data to the United States. Google, Meta and X are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which is the basis for these transfers. Failing that, they are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
4. SHARING BUTTONS AND THIRD-PARTY CONTENT
Some pages may include sharing buttons or embedded content from social networks (Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest). When you interact with these elements, the network concerned may place its own trackers and link them to your account if you have one. This processing is governed by the privacy policy of each of these platforms, which we invite you to consult.
The site also offers sign-in with a Google account, which calls a service hosted by Google. That service is only called upon to enable authentication.
5. HOW TO ACCEPT, REFUSE OR CHANGE YOUR CHOICE
A consent banner is displayed on your first visit. It allows you to:
– refuse everything in one click (“Reject”);
– accept everything in one click (“Accept”);
– choose category by category (Necessary, Analytics, Advertisement) and then save your selection. The Analytics and Advertisement categories are switched off by default: no box is pre-ticked.
Refusing is exactly as simple as accepting, and refusing has no consequence on your access to the site or on your ability to place an order.
You can change your choice at any time by reopening the preferences panel from the dedicated icon permanently displayed on the site, or by writing to us at info@maisonmyel.com.
You also have means that are independent of us: Google's opt-out add-on for Google Analytics (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), the advertising preferences of your Facebook, Instagram and X accounts, and your browser's privacy settings. Please note that blocking all cookies prevents the basket and your customer account from working.
6. RETENTION PERIOD
Non-essential trackers have a lifetime no longer than the one stated in Article 3 and are not automatically renewed on each visit. The resulting audience data is kept for a maximum of twenty-five (25) months. Your consent choice is kept for six (6) months, in accordance with the CNIL's recommendation, after which you will be asked again.
7. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability in respect of the data collected by these trackers. You may exercise these rights at info@maisonmyel.com, under the conditions detailed in Article 5 of the privacy policy. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
8. CHANGES
This policy may be amended to reflect changes to the site, to the tools used or to the applicable regulations. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
