Loopy
Loopy is a 50×40×40cm coffee table which embodies the sculptural signature of Raphaël Pontais. Designed with attention to artisanal detail, this piece combines brushed stainless steel and leather to create a dialogue between industrial material and tactile comfort. The organic curves of brushed steel envelop the leather in an architectural embrace, evoking movement frozen in time. Based in Paris, Pontais draws on the heritage of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés workshops to craft furniture that transcends its utilitarian function. Each piece is handcrafted, guaranteeing authenticity and natural variations which make up the richness of exceptional furniture. Loopy demonstrates the designer's multidisciplinary approach, where sculpture and design intertwine to create timeless objects intended for the most demanding contemporary interiors.

Raphaël Pontais, multidisciplinary designer based in Paris, designs furniture and interior objects. He began his career in 2021, collaborating with interior designers and decorators for hotels and private residences. His pieces, such as the Rooly chair, have been exhibited in Paris, Milan, Eindhoven and New York, and have been represented by the Anne Jacquemin Sablon gallery since 2024. He now explores industrial with the Ora Ito studio.
