Alta by Antony Gasnier is a sculptural vase that transcends the simple functionality of a vase to become a captivating sculptural presence. Inspired by the raw beauty and warmth of natural amber, Gasnier designed this piece as an exploration of light through material. He sought to create an object that would not only contain flowers, but also radiate a warm and enveloping aura, transforming the surrounding space. As Gasnier points out, “Color is for me a material in its own right, a vector of emotions which structures space and dialogues with light. With Alta Vase Ambre, I wanted to capture the very essence of sunlight, trap it in matter and then release it into the environment.”
