Ambassador

Ambassadrice, an oil on canvas measuring 200×160 cm, presents a composition rich in colors and textures. The plant forms, central to the work, are treated with a formal freedom which explores the themes of the passage of time and vanity. The light, diffused and subdued, creates a meditative atmosphere, reinforced by the soft hues and pastel tones. Gaël Davrinche's technique, visible through the layers of paint and brushed gestures, adds a tactile dimension to the work. Signed by the artist, Ambassadrice is part of the Corpus Botanica cycle, where still life and plants become metaphors for the human condition.
