Seven Pink and Red Dahlias, an oil on primed paper, presents a dense floral composition where pink and red dahlias dominate. The bright colors and textures of the primed paper create a lush atmosphere. The light seems filtered, bringing intimacy to the scene. This work, part of the Corpus Botanica cycle, explores vanity and the passage of time through the figure of the plant. Gaël Davrinche's signature is discreet, but distinctive. The whole evokes a meditative reflection on memory and the human condition.
