Continuing his exploration of hypermodern materiality, César Bardoux presents *Corail-2*, an oil on wood where scientific rigor meets the poetry of alchemy. The work condenses the themes dear to the artist: amniotic fluidity, the constant transformation of matter and the fusion of temporalities. The pictorial surface, with almost optical precision, reveals a complex interweaving of distorted geometric frames, suggesting an organic form in full mutation. The traditional pictorial technique is here sublimated by a digital sensitivity, reflecting Bardoux's fascination with new textures and the bodily memory of our aquatic origins. The light, subtle and diffuse, contributes to the illusion of a translucent volume, evoking a fragment of futuristic coral, born from an improbable encounter between the organic and the synthetic. *Corail-2* bears witness to Bardoux's approach, which consists of probing the boundaries between the tangible and the virtual, the old and the new, in a quest for a post-human phenomenology.
