This work is part of César Bardoux's pictorial research on fluid materiality and the textures of hypermodernity. Graduating from Beaux-arts de Paris in 2017, the artist explores the fusion between traditional oil painting and 3D modeling, creating quasi-scientific studies of the elements. His work combines manual execution and digital simulation, evoking a post-human phenomenology where matter is in constant transformation. The translucent volumes characteristic of his universe navigate between ancestral alchemy and contemporary science fiction, between ancient and innovative temporalities, translating the amniotic fluidity of digital technology and the precision of modern optical instruments.
