Three Days In A Whole condenses an extended temporal experience into the unified space of the canvas. This monumental work measuring 175x240cm explores the subjective perception of time and the way in which memory restructures lived experience. Vasmoulakis uses his signature oil-beeswax technique to create areas of varying density, visual metaphors for the varying intensity of memories. The composition suggests both fragmentation and totality, reflecting the complexity of temporal consciousness. Nourished by spiritual symbols, psychedelia and urban subcultures, the Greek artist creates work that transcends narrative to reach a meditative and contemplative dimension.
