Vantage Point questions the question of perspective and point of view in visual and existential experience. This 120x150cm painting explores how our position determines our understanding of the world. Vasmoulakis creates a composition that seems to change depending on the viewer's angle of approach, playing with perception and the relativity of meaning. The surface worked with oil and beeswax captures the light in a variable manner, reinforcing this productive instability. Trained at the art schools of Athens and Prague, the Greek artist incorporates references to spiritual symbols, psychedelia and urban subcultures to create a rich and layered visual vocabulary.
