Armchair, signed Antony Gasnier, is much more than a simple seat: it is a habitable sculpture, a questioning of function and form. Gasnier took inspiration from the classic lines of the armchair, deconstructing and reinterpreting them through the prism of his unique chromatic and sculptural language. He explains: “I seek to breathe poetry into everyday life, to transform familiar objects into new visual experiences”. Blown glass, the artist's favorite material, is worked here with exceptional mastery. Coming from traditional glass workshops, this glass is selected for its purity and its ability to capture and reflect light.
