This work is a continuation of César Bardoux's pictorial research on fluid dynamics. The artist seeks to represent an unstable substance animated from the inside, like a multicellular plant organism, a bioluminescent amniotic fluid. First developed in 3D as a sculptural base before being frozen in oil paint and sand on canvas, the composition is inspired by the memory of water evoked in the works of Masaru Emoto. Matter is conceived as a solution in the chemical sense, evolving, oscillating between liquid, solid and gaseous states, crossed by translucent strata and traversed by electrical impulses. This hybrid materiality seeks to make the invisible visible: living matter in tension becoming a sensitive relay between microscopic and cosmic dimensions.
