Seeing Circles captures the cyclical nature of human perception and experience. This 175x195cm painting illustrates Vasmoulakis' fascination with archetypal forms and their power to transcend cultures and eras. The circle, a universal symbol present in spiritual traditions around the world, here becomes a vehicle for visual exploration. The Greek artist uses his signature oil-beeswax technique to create depths and transparencies that evoke both the cosmos and interiority. Trained at the art schools of Athens and Prague, Vasmoulakis integrates references to urban subcultures and psychedelia into this work, creating a bridge between tradition and modernity. Original work signed by the artist.
