7AlgorithM Sofa

7algorithM Sofa pushes Ara Thorose's formal language to architectural scale, creating a multi-person seating experience that retains the sculptural integrity of its individual chairs. Created from a unique undulating line of concentric cylinders, this 215.9cm sofa embodies a repetitive and expansive design that can be customized to accommodate more or less seating as needed. The curved shapes create a visual rhythm that changes depending on the viewing angle, inviting contemplation and physical interaction. Weighing 90.7kg, this substantial piece anchors any space with authority. The custom fabric, foam and steel frame are all specified for heavy-duty use while maintaining their structural and aesthetic integrity. Each sofa is made to order with a lead time of 10 to 12 weeks, allowing for customization in terms of dimensions and fabric selection.
