Sifflements Du Bosquet by Leo Orta is a captivating light sculpture, resulting from a poetic exploration of nature and light. Created by Leo Orta, this unique work seems straight out of a fairy tale, evoking a forest spirit lit from within. The title, Sifflements Du Bosquet, suggests an intimate connection with the sounds and mysteries hidden in the heart of a grove, an invitation to listen and contemplate. “I seek to capture the essence of nature and transpose it into objects that invite reverie and spiritual connection,” explains Leo Orta. “Sifflements Du Bosquet is an attempt to make tangible the magic that I feel while walking in the forest.” Made from grove, a noble and organic material, the sculpture demonstrates exceptional artisanal know-how.

The Anglo-Argentine artist Leo Orta lives and works in France, between Paris and Les Moulins. Graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2019, he explores the boundaries between art and design. His work questions human existence and social and emotional connections within communities and environments. He establishes connections between the subconscious and the imagination, using recycled materials and sustainable production methods. His works have been exhibited in numerous institutions, including the FRAC, the Van Abbemuseum and the Stedelijk Museum.
