Cumulus Stool3 by Leo Orta is more than just a stool; it is a functional sculpture that evokes the power and raw beauty of nature. From the Cumulus collection, this stool captures the ephemeral essence of clouds, transforming a fleeting moment into a tangible and lasting presence. The title itself refers to these cloud formations, symbolizing lightness and transformation. Leo Orta says: “I seek to capture the immanence of nature, to freeze moments of raw beauty and make them accessible through everyday objects.” This vision is fully manifested in Cumulus Stool3. This stool is made of natural stone, carefully selected for its unique texture and color. The manufacturing process is a delicate balance between brute force and artisanal precision.
