Granny Drinking Water

Granny Sipping Water, a library sculpture by Leo Orta, is a poetic exploration of fragility and ephemeral beauty. Designed in 2023, this unique piece is part of a collection that celebrates the simple and precious moments of everyday life, captured in a material as transient as water itself. The title, Granny Sipping Water, evokes an intimate and delicate memory, a moment of contemplation and calm. Leo Orta said: "I seek to transform ordinary elements into extraordinary objects, to capture the essence of the moment and make it tangible." This philosophy is fully reflected in Granny Sipping Water, where apparent simplicity hides a complexity of thought and technique. Made in water, Granny Sipping Water is the result of an innovative and meticulous manufacturing process.
